From Pop-Up Racks to Runway Ready – Welcome to the New Era of Southern Belles
What started in 2012 as a weekend consignment event—modeled after kids’ pop-up sales but filled with sequins and satin—has blossomed into Knoxville’s go-to destination for prom, pageant, and bridal magic. Over the years, Southern Belles Closet evolved from a seasonal event into a three-month shopping experience, and today, we’re a full-fledged, year-round boutique with one major mission: helping you look and feel unforgettable for life’s biggest moments.
We began with gently-loved gowns from the local community, but now? We’re proud to offer over 2,500 brand new, name-brand prom and pageant gowns and more than 600 off-the-rack bridal gowns, all waiting to make their debut. Think handpicked designer styles, glam-worthy accessories, and that just-right mix of sparkle and sass.
And as we continue to grow, we’re stepping into an exciting new chapter. We officially retired our consignment services and fully embrace our future as a modern formalwear boutique. With that shift comes a fresh new look—we’re dropping “Closet” and reintroducing ourselves as simply Southern Belles.
